There are 3 common sizes to choose from. 6x6" is optimal for 4" designs, 7x7" is great for 5" designs, and 8x8" is available for larger/irregular shapes. Please note that all embroidered fabrics will be completed with medium weight cutaway stabilizer attached to the back. This ensures more stable embroidery. When self-finishing, I treat the stabilizer like a piece of batting and use one less piece of batting on my back cookie than my front to keep both the same width.
